in countries and regions with a large community of BCI Members.
Recently, The BCI elected two new
members to their USA chapter. Edward
“Ted” Brown III, CBCP, CBCV, MBCI
and Brian Zawada, co-founder and director of Avalution Consulting, LLC.
BCI chapter members are locally
elected officials and are responsible for
representing the BCI in their region.
Brown is president and CEO of KETCH
Consulting and is a recognized business
continuity industry leader whose tireless
efforts have dramatically increased visibility of BCP nationwide and globally. He
will serve on the BCI USA chapter board
as education chairman.
Brian Zawada is director of consulting
and co-founder at Avalution Consulting,
LLC based in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the
past 16 years, Zawada has actively managed internal business continuity programs as well as consulted with more than
100 business continuity clients in nearly
all industries. Zawada will serve on the
board of directors of the BCI USA chapter.
USA Chapter President Doug Weldon, FBCI, congratulates
the newly elected. “The chapter board of the BCI-USA is very
pleased to welcome Brian and Ted to its ranks,” said Weldon.
“These gentlemen bring both a huge wealth of BCM talent and
skills to the board as well as a large measure of business acumen
to support the BCI objectives in the US.”
As the BCI’s membership grows throughout the world, so
does its responsibility to its constituents and the discipline.
Following along with this exponential acceptance within the
BC community, the BCI has expanded its world-class educational
offerings to address critical elements of BCM.
