World 2009.

“Again faced with tighter travel and
education budgets, we were still able to
offer attendees a first-class show in DRJ
fashion,” said Bob Arnold, president of
Disaster Recovery Journal. “A huge ‘thank
you’ to all attendees, speakers, sponsors
and exhibitors that participated making
the show another huge success for everyone involved.”
Fall World 2009 was highlighted
by a Las Vegas-themed Monday Night
Hospitality event, sponsored by SunGard.
“We would like to thank our gold sponsor, SunGard, for hosting a wonderful
event,” said Arnold.
Silver sponsors included Forsythe,
IBM, and Pathway Systems. Bronze sponsors were CA, Dell MessageOne, eBRP,
and Send Word Now. COOP Systems,
Dialogic Communications Corp., Hewlett-Packard, Paradigm Solutions International,
Pitney Bowes, Verizon Wireless, Sydion,
Rentsys, UPS, DRI Intermational and PPBI
were co-sponsors of Fall World 2009.
Rolando Buenviaje won the $500 attendance prize drawing while R. Scott Sexton
and Richard McNish each won $250. All
three attendees also won a free pass to a
future DRJ conference.
“The success and growth of this show,
despite the economy, will continue with
our spring event,” said Arnold. “We are
working diligently on the agenda to produce a show covering the hottest topics
facing BC/DR professionals.”

place March 21-24, 2010, in Orlando, Fla.
